About Us

Most firms have an "About Us" page.
We start with you.

You left the safety of a paycheck, or never wanted one in the first place. You built something out of nothing but skill, nerve, and a frightening amount of coffee. You sign the front of checks, not just the back.
This page is about what that life actually looks like — and why we understand it better than most.

You wear many hats
Some of them don't fit

You're the CEO, the sales team, the service department, and — somewhere around 9pm on a Tuesday — the accounting department. You didn't start your business because you love reconciling bank accounts or decoding estimated tax vouchers. You started it because you're great at something, and you wanted to build a life around it.

And yet, the financial side keeps demanding your attention in ways nobody warned you about:

Am I in the right entity structure — and what did that
S-Corp election actually change?

Is my salary "reasonable" in the eyes of the IRS — and what happens if it isn't?

Should the building be in its own LLC — and is renting it to myself brilliant or a trap?

Why is the bank balance so low when the income statement says we’re making money?

Why does my tax bill feel like a surprise party nobody wanted, every single April?

And the big one: after years of work — what is this business actually worth?

If any of those questions sound familiar, you're in the right place. They're not edge cases to us. They're Tuesday.

From the founder

Twenty years on your side of the desk.

My wife and I have been self-employed for more than two decades. Multiple businesses, multiple entities, and every challenge that comes with them — the entity structure decisions, the self-employment tax issues, the quarterly estimates, the retirement plans we had to fund ourselves, the properties, the payroll. All of it.

I didn't learn the entrepreneur's financial life from a textbook or a CPE course. I learned it by living it, with my own money on the line. WorthWorx exists because I know exactly what it feels like to sit on your side of the desk.

Don't see yourself on the list?

The list isn't the point — the profile is. If you're
self-employed, own your business, and want it to be
worth more next year than it is today, we should talk.
